Experience closely related to the post

Actively engaged in multilateral diplomacy in the United Nations over the past 30 years and posted to all three United Nations headquarters (New York, Geneva and Vienna). While working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was in charge of United Nations affairs, attended numerous international meetings held by different organs in the political, economic, social and other fields, including security, arms control, sustainable development and labour, and became familiar with the organization and operation of all bodies in the United Nations system. Since 1972, attended 24 sessions of the General Assembly. Since 2002, delegate of China to the General Assembly and its second, third, fifth and sixth Committees and head of the Chinese delegations to Economic and Social Council meetings.
