2004 – 2007 Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the United Nations; Representative of the Russian Federation to the Second Committee of the General Assembly
2000 – 2004 Deputy Director, Department of International Organizations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. Responsible for formulating the Government’s policy and approaches with regard to the Second Committee of the General Assembly, ECOSOC, UNDP, UNFPA, UNICEF, UNIDO, UNEP, WHO, FAO, UN-Habitat, ECE, ESCAP, including on issues related to budget, management, human resources, monitoring and evaluation. In addition, was responsible for planning and follow-up of a number of joint Russia-UNDP and UNICEF projects implemented in the Russian Federation, including the UNDP Human Development Report in Russia (Director) and the country programme for the Russian Federation (2000-2003)
